Harry Kane Scores As Bayern Munich Fight Back To Beat Eintracht Frankfurt

Harry Kane scores as Bayern Munich fight back to beat Eintracht Frankfurt

The England captain scored one and assisted another as Bayern came from behind to win 3-1 at Eintracht Frankfurt

Robert Lewandowski also scored as Bayern moved back to the top of the Bundesliga

Harry Kane scored one of the easiest goals of his career as Bayern Munich rallied from a goal down to beat Eintracht Frankfurt 3-1 on Saturday.

The England captain was on hand to tap home from close range after Kingsley Coman's shot had been saved by Kevin Trapp in the 53rd minute.

Kane had earlier assisted Robert Lewandowski for Bayern's equaliser in the 26th minute, after Filip Kostic had given Frankfurt the lead.

The win moved Bayern back to the top of the Bundesliga, one point ahead of Borussia Dortmund, who beat Hertha Berlin 2-1 on Friday.

Kane has now scored 15 goals in 21 appearances for Bayern since joining the club from Tottenham in the summer.

"It's a great feeling to be able to contribute to the team's success," Kane said after the game.

"We knew it would be a tough game today, but we showed great character to come back from behind and win.

"We're in a good position now at the top of the table, but there's still a long way to go in the season.

"We need to keep working hard and taking it one game at a time."
